Les avions n’atteriront plus sur la piste de l’aéroport de Ziguinchor pour une période d’un mois renouvelable. La décision a été prise ce 13 avril et les raisons qui justifient cette fermeture brusque de l’aérodrome de Zig/ GOGG pour tout trafic a compter du 15 avril 2022 a partir de 23 heures 59 mn sont relatives à des imperfections dangereuses pour le trafic. L’activité sera momentanément redeployée sur l’aérodrome du Cap Skiring.
Selon des sources concordantes, une fissure de la dalle du bâtiment d’enregistrement de voyageurs et mauvaise qualité de la piste à plusieurs niveaux seraient a l’origine de cette décision. une partie de cette dalle même cédé selon toujours nos sources. Il y a eu plus de peur que de mal car il y avait pas de monde au mnoment où se produisit l’incident.
Suite à un contrôle technique d’un avion de dix sept place de la compagnie Arc en Ciel, il a été constaté sur place a Ziguinchor par l’équipe des inspecteurs de l’Anacim que la piste est dégradée par niveaux ce qu’elle constitue un danger pour le trafic.
La fermeture momentanée de l’aérodrome de Ziguinchor aurait été programmée avant le début de la saison de pluies prochaines. La mauvaise qualité de la piste et l’incident survenu dans la salle d’enregistrement auraient alors précipité les choses.
