La Pluie en Temps de Corona, Quand les maladies hivernales viennent s’ajouter au COVID19

Nous sommes à seulement quelques semaines de la saison des pluies, prévue entre les mois de  Juin Juillet, et Août, selon un communiqué de l’agence nationale de l’aviation civile et de météorologie (ANACIM). Comme d’habitude, le Sénégal devra faire face aux maladies telles que le paludisme, la grippe (etc) qui accompagnent les pluies. 

La recrudescence des maladies hivernales s’explique par des manquements au niveau de la canalisation et de la planification urbaine engendrant la stagnation des eaux diluviennes qui se mêlent aux eaux usées et déchets qui jonchent le sol des villes Sénégalaises. Des solutions concrètes à ses problèmes structurelles n’ont pas été adoptées pendant toutes ces années où les populations continuaient à souffrir. 

Cette année, à ces péripéties non négligeables vient se greffer la pandémie du COVID19. Comment se dérouleront donc simultanément les luttes anti-covid 19 et anti-maladies hivernales? Ces maladies ayant des symptômes en commun avec le COVID19, quelle sera la méthode de dépistage la plus efficace pour le COVID 19?

Depuis le 2 Mars, le gouvernement mènent un combat contre le COVID 19. Pendant ce temps, le plan d’action pour la lutte contre les maladies hivernales n’est toujours pas clair. Avec l’hivernage qui s’approche à grand pas les autorités sanitaires devront entamer les plans de préventions du paludisme par exemple, et des maladies diarrhéiques. Pour rappel,le paludisme fait des ravages.  Il emporte, lui seul, 2 millions de vies en moyenne par an, notamment dans les pays pauvres d’Afrique subsaharienne. Et, Il mets en danger plus de 2 milliards d’individus dans le monde.
