Comment réussir son examen de fin d’année ? Y’aura t-il une année blanche ou invalide? voilà des questions qui préoccupent les élèves au sénégal, particulièrement ceux en classe d’examen contraints de ne plus fréquenter l’école depuis sa fermeture le 16 mars 2020 due au COVID19.
De son côté, le ministère de l’Éducation Nationale a mis en place une plateforme d’enseignement en ligne « apprendre à la maison ». Le site examen.sn a pour vocation d’aider les élèves en classe d’examen à se préparer pour les épreuves qui les attendent.
Les enseignants eux se mobilisent pour assurer une forme de tutorat à distance via les réseaux sociaux ( whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram…). Ces initiatives ne profitent pas à tous les élèves. Ceux qui n’ont pas accès à la connexion internet ou à l’électricité sont exclus d’office.
Après deux mois de vacances forcées l’inquiétude est grande chez les élèves. À l’instar de Niouma candidate au Baccalauréat : » Notre problème est double, d’un côté il y a la maladie qui prend de l’ampleur, de l’autre nous voyons venir la fin de l’année scolaire sans que nous n’ayons atteint la moitié du programme. Dans ces conditions comment allons nous faire pour passer le bac? Et c’est bientôt l’hivernage. Il est inimaginable de faire les cours en période hivernale au Sénégal. Il faut prévoir la vétusté de certaines écoles et les problèmes liés aux inondations et au transport.
Vêtue d’une taille basse, le masque au visage, Miya se confie : » Le diable m’a suivi. C’est la troisième fois que je me présente au Bac après deux tentatives. J’espérais réussir cette année mais à cause de la maladie je suis perdue. Le ministre doit tout faire pour sauver l’année scolaire ».
Cette inquiétude est partagée par certains parents d’élèves, comme Momar Seck : »Nous parents d’élèves, sommes conscients de la gravité de la maladie et des conséquences directes, indirectes, sur l’éducation de nos enfants. Le moment nécessite l’union sacrée, nous n’allons pas rester les bras croisés mais l’État doit sauver l’année scolaire » conclut-il ».
Un autre parent d’élèves Abdoul Ba revient sur un probable déconfinement des élèves et souligne ses inquiétudes . Pour lui, il est hors de question que les élèves reprennent les cours dans ces circonstances. “Je ne vais pas sacrifier mes enfants. l’année blanche dont le gouvernement ne veut pas entendre parler est eminente. Je ne vois pas comment arrivera-t-il (gouvernement) à sauver l’année scolaire?”
Selon le communiqué du conseil de ministre du 29 Avril 2020, la reprise des cours, sera effective le 02 juin 2020 pour les élèves en classe d’examen. S’agissant de l’Enseignement supérieur, le Conseil a recommandé aux académies, de réfléchir sur les modalités de reprise globale des enseignements dans la période du 02 et le 14 juin 2020. Reste à savoir dans quelles conditions se fera cette reprise des cours vu le niveau d’évolution de la propagation du Covid-19.
