Les locaux du quotidien « Les Echos » attaqués, le forum civil et Amnesty condamnent.

Les locaux du quotidien « Les Echos », ont été attaqués et saccagés ce lundi. Un acte « lâche », qui n’est pas étranger à la publication, par ledit quotidien, d’un article qui informait de la contamination de Serigne Moustapha Sy par la Covid-19.

De son côté, le Forum civil est monté au créneau. Et c’est pour dénoncer cet acte. « Le Forum Civil condamne sans réserve l’acte de vandalisme dont le journal LesEchos est victime. Le Forum Civil témoigne sa solidarité indéfectible aux travailleurs du journal et à la presse dans toutes ses composantes. Le Forum Civil appelle les citoyens à la sérénité et au respect des lois et règles de la République », indique-t-il dans un communiqué parvenu à iGfm.

Birahim Seck et ses camarades exhortent la justice à ouvrir une enquête pour situer les responsabilités et demande au Gouvernement d’assumer et d’exercer pleinement sa mission régalienne de protection des personnes et des biens afin de garantir la stabilité sociale.

De son côté, Seydi Gassama d’Amnesty a réagi: « Nous condamnons fermement l’attaque perpétrée ce jour contre les locaux du journal Les Echos. Nous encourageons les responsables du journal à porter plainte afin qu’une enquête soit diligentée pour retrouver les auteurs de cet acte délictueux et les traduire en justice. »
