SAFRU: Le Ministre Abdoulaye Saydou Sow Installe Le Conseil D’Administration

Le ministre de l’Urbanisme, du Logement et de l’Hygiène publique, Abdoulaye Saydou Sow, a procédé ce mardi 5 janvier 2021 à l’installation du Conseil d’Administration de la Société d’aménagement foncier et de rénovation urbaine (SAFRU SA). M. Sow a été accompagné par Madame Victorine Ndeye, Secrétaire d’état, chargé du Logement.

La Safru est un levier sur lequel doit s’appuyer toute la politique nationale d’éradication des bidonvilles et de production massive de logements à l’horizon 2035, politique mise en œuvre par le Ministère de l’Urbanisme, du Logement et de l’Hygiène publique à travers le Programme Zéro Bidonville (PROZEBID).

La SAFRU, telle que l’a voulu Son Excellence, Monsieur le Président de la République Macky Sall, est d’abord un développeur immobilier au sens de la loi d’orientation sur l’habitat social, c’est-à-dire, qu’elle est un organisme chargé de procéder de manière générale à toutes opérations d’aménagement foncier, de restructuration et de rénovation urbaine.

Mr Gorgui Ciss, Président du Conseil d’administration, a présidé dans la foulée le premier conseil d’administration de la Safru, en la présence de Meissa Mahecor Diouf, le Directeur général, et des membres du Conseil. A l’issue de ses travaux, le conseil a adopté son document d’orientation stratégique, le budget et le programme d’activités de l’année 2021 ainsi que l’organigramme et le manuel de procédures des marchés publics. Pour rappel, la société a été créée pour appuyer le projet 100 mille logements en mettant à sa disposition, en priorité, des assiettes aménagées sur le site du pôle urbain de Daga Kholpa dont la phase de démarrage accéléré de la production de logements est prévue en 2022
