Pétrole : Le Sénégal lance un appel d’offre pour 12 blocs offshoreLe bloc pétrolier Sénégal Offshore Sud Profond (SOSP) est bien ouvert à la concurrence pour son exploitation. Ainsi, les compagnies intéressées par l’un des 12 blocs sont invitées à faire parvenir leurs offres avant le 30 mai 2021.

La précision est de Petrosen qui rappelle que le bloc est inclus dans les 12 blocs proposés à l’appel d’offres international (licensing round) lancé en novembre 2019 par l’Etat du Sénégal. C’est ce que renseigne le journal L’AS dans sa livraison de ce mercredi.

Ce bloc, d’une superficie de 7653 km², se situe au sud de Rufisque Offshore, Sangomar Offshore et Sangomar Offshore Profond (RSSD) où d’importantes découvertes ont été faites ces dernières années. Le champ de Sangomar, en cours de développement, illustre bien le potentiel dont regorge le bassin sédimentaire du Sénégal.
