Mali: La Force Française Barkhane Attaquée Par Des Présumés Jihadistes

Les forces françaises de l’opération Barkhane ont été attaquées lundi dans le nord du Mali, à 160km au sud de la principale ville du septentrion, Gao. C’est un véhicule piégé qui a été utilisé par les jihadistes. Des militaires français et des civils maliens ont été blessés, des kamikazes tués.

Dans la périphérie de la localité de malienne de Gossi, l’attaque est survenue non loin du dispensaire Anne-Marie Salomon, du nom d’une religieuse française qui a installée sur place un centre de santé pour soigner les populations locales.

Selon de bonnes sources, c’est un véhicule chargé d’explosifs, actionné par de présumés jihadistes, qui a heurté un véhicule de la force Barkhane faisant partie d’une patrouille de sécurisation. Des témoins ont entendu un grand bruit .

Les militaires français ont tout de suite réagi au sol, avec en support des hélicoptères Tigre et des Mirage 2000. Des kamikazes auraient trouvé la mort. Du côté des forces françaises, il y a des blessés, tout comme du côté des civils maliens.

Dans les environs de Gossi, située à 160 km au sud de Gao, Barkhane dispose d’une base qui lui sert de tête de pont dans la lutte contre les jihadistes. La zone a une frontière avec le Burkina Faso. Les populations locales vivent dans l’insécurité. Récemment un riche commerçant de Gossi a été retrouvé assassiné,  et deux civils qui se rendaient plus au Nord ont été tués par des hommes armés non identifiés
