Pr\u00e8s de 7,5 millions d’\u00e9lecteurs \u00e9taient appel\u00e9s aux urnes ce samedi 31 octobre en C\u00f4te d’Ivoire pour le premier tour de l’\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle. Un scrutin boycott\u00e9 par l\u2019opposition qui a lanc\u00e9 un appel \u00e0 la d\u00e9sob\u00e9sissance civile.<\/p>\n

La journ\u00e9e de vote a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par une faible participation par endroits et des incidents. \u00c0 Abidjan, entre boycott et crainte de violences, de nombreux ivoiriens n’avaient toujours pas vot\u00e9 \u00e0 la mi-journ\u00e9e dans certains quartiers.<\/p>\n

Quelques incidents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9galement enregistr\u00e9s dans la capitale, notamment dans le quartier de Blockhaus, r\u00e9put\u00e9 favorable \u00e0 l’opposition. Au moins un bureau a\u00a0d\u00fb \u00eatre ferm\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Des incidents ont \u00e9t\u00e9 aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 signal\u00e9s dans le reste du\u00a0 pays. Selon l’organisation de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile Indigo, qui a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 plus de 1\u00a0000 observateurs sur le terrain, 21% des bureaux de vote sur l’ensemble du territoire n’avaient toujours pas ouvert \u00e0 midi. Indigo recensait \u00e0 la mi-journ\u00e9e 116 incidents. A Yamoussoukro, Daoukrou ou Bongouanou, des manifestants de l’opposition ont ainsi emp\u00each\u00e9 l’ouverture de bureaux. A Vavoa, Agboville, Adzop\u00e9, Daloa, du mat\u00e9riel \u00e9lectoral a \u00e9t\u00e9 saccag\u00e9.<\/p>\n

On ignore l’exacte \u00e9tendue de ces incidents, les observateurs n’ayant pas pu se d\u00e9velopper partout. A Yamoussoukro, par exemple, ceux du Centre Carter ont d\u00fb faire demi-tour, des barrages ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9rig\u00e9s \u00e0 travers la ville.<\/p>\n
