Dans un communiqu\u00e9 parvenu \u00e0 emedia, la Commission informe qu\u2019elle a proc\u00e9d\u00e9, ce jour, mardi, 11 mai 2021 \u00e0 l\u2019observation de la lune au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, dans la sous-r\u00e9gion et dans le monde. \u00ab\u00a0La lune a \u00e9t\u00e9 aper\u00e7ue au Mali, au Niger et en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire\u00a0\u00bb, souligne le communiqu\u00e9. Par cons\u00e9quent, explique la note, \u00ab\u00a0Demain mercredi, 12 mai 2021 sera le 1er jour du mois de Chawwal.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Se basant sur les donn\u00e9es scientifiques, le Conseil Fran\u00e7ais du Culte Musulman (CFCM) a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e de fixer \u00e0 l\u2019avance la date de l\u2019A\u00efd el Fitr au jeudi 13 mai 2021. Selon les explications des scientifiques, le croissant lunaire ne sera pas visible le mardi 11 mai au soir dans pratiquement aucun endroit du monde.
