L’ancien pr\u00e9sident ivoirien Lauren Gbagbo est arriv\u00e9 jeudi \u00e0 Abidjan en avion depuis Bruxelles. C’est la premi\u00e8re fois qu’il foule le sol de C\u00f4te d’Ivoire depuis qu’il a \u00e9t\u00e9 chass\u00e9 du pouvoir en 2011. Un retour permis par son acquittement de crimes contre l’humanit\u00e9 par la justice internationale et par le feu vert donn\u00e9 par Abidjan au nom de la \u00ab\u00a0r\u00e9conciliation nationale\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

L’avion transportant l’ancien pr\u00e9sident ivoirien Laurent Gbagbo a atterri, jeudi 17 juin, peu avant 16H30 (locales et GMT), dans son pays qu’il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint de quitter il y a dix ans, trois mois \u00e0 peine apr\u00e8s son acquittement d\u00e9finitif de crimes contre l’humanit\u00e9 par la justice internationale.<\/p>\n

Il est rentr\u00e9 par un vol r\u00e9gulier venant de Bruxelles o\u00f9 il vivait depuis son acquittement par la Cour p\u00e9nale internationale (CPI) en janvier 2019, confirm\u00e9 en appel le 31 mars. Laurent Gbagbo a \u00e9t\u00e9 acclam\u00e9 \u00e0 sa descente d’avion par des centaines de personnes, celles qui avaient pu avoir acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l’a\u00e9roport, ses proches, les responsables de son parti, le Front populaire ivoirien (FPI), et le personnel de l’a\u00e9roport et de compagnies a\u00e9riennes.
\nMais peu avant l’atterrissage, des tirs et des fum\u00e9es de gaz lacrymog\u00e8nes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9s tout pr\u00e8s de l’a\u00e9roport. Depuis jeudi matin, la police disperse avec du gaz lacrymog\u00e8ne tous ceux qui tentent de se rassembler pour cette arriv\u00e9e.
\nL’ex-pr\u00e9sident se rendra ensuite dans le quartier d’Attoban, o\u00f9 se trouve son ancien QG de campagne pour l’\u00e9lection pr\u00e9sidentielle de 2010, selon un communiqu\u00e9 du FPI qui invite \u00ab\u00a0les membres de la direction du parti\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 s’y rendre pour l’accueillir.
