L’Union des magistrats du S\u00e9n\u00e9gal a un nouveau pr\u00e9sident. Ousmane Chim\u00e8re Diouf remplace au poste le juge Souleymane T\u00e9liko. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lu au terme de l’Assembl\u00e9e de g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de ladite structure qui s’est tenue ce week-end.
\nPr\u00e9sident de la deuxi\u00e8me Chambre correctionnelle de la Cour d\u2019appel de Dakar,\u00a0\u200bOusmane Chim\u00e8re Diouf \u00e9tait en concurrence au poste avec\u00a0Abdou khadir Diop, pr\u00e9sident du Tribunal de grande instance de Saint-Louis et Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du bureau sortant.<\/p>\n

Le nouveau pr\u00e9sident a exprim\u00e9 toute sa fiert\u00e9 de voir ses coll\u00e8gues porter leur choix sur lui.
\n\u00ab\u00a0Mes amis, je suis heureux de vous annoncer mon \u00e9lection \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l’Union des Magistrats S\u00e9n\u00e9galais et croyez-moi, ma fiert\u00e9 est aussi grande que le monde. Mes coll\u00e8gues dans un engouement historique m’ont envoy\u00e9 un message silencieux, celui de leur confiance, \u00e0 moi de la m\u00e9riter parce que dans la vie, tout se m\u00e9rite. Je suis fier d’appartenir \u00e0 un corps gage et garant de l’\u00e9tat de droit, de la stabilit\u00e9 et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 voire de la tranquillit\u00e9 des populations et cela, personne ne peut nous l’enlever<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, a-t-il \u00e9crit.<\/p>\n

Avant de souligner les difficiles conditions dans lesquelles travaillent les magistrats s\u00e9n\u00e9galais. \u00ab\u00a0Moins de 500 Magistrats pour une population de 16 millions d’habitants, il n’est pas n\u00e9cessaire de d\u00e9crire les conditions difficiles dans lesquelles la justice fonctionne et malgr\u00e9 tout, ces braves hommes et femmes ne rechignent jamais \u00e0 la t\u00e2che pour mener \u00e0 bien leur mission<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0, dit-il.<\/p>\n

Il a appel\u00e9 les magistrats s\u00e9n\u00e9galais oeuvrer \u00ab\u00a0tout le temps pour retourner \u00e0 dame Justice la place privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e qu’elle nous a donn\u00e9e dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 en cultivant la courtoisie, l’\u00e9l\u00e9gance, le sentiment du devoir bien accompli de par la qualit\u00e9 des d\u00e9cisions rendues, et en respectant ce peuple au nom de qui justice est rendue<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
