Cette troisi\u00e8me vague, nous l\u2019esp\u00e9rons, prendra bient\u00f4t fin. Mais, pour cela, il faut continuer \u00e0 respecter les gestes barri\u00e8res et aller se faire vacciner3, a-t-il exhort\u00e9, lors du point quotidien sur la situation de la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n<p>Diouf Sarr a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019\u00e0 la date du 7 ao\u00fbt, le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 la barre d\u2019un million de personnes d\u00e9j\u00e0 vaccin\u00e9es. Il\u00a0a encourag\u00e9 et\u00a0f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le personnel de sant\u00e9 et l\u2019ensemble des intervenants dans la mise en \u0153uvre de la strat\u00e9gie de vaccination. Il a aussi f\u00e9licit\u00e9 les populations pour leur adh\u00e9sion massive \u00e0 la vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>Le ministre de la Sant\u00e9 et de l\u2019Action sociale a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l\u2019approvisionnement du pays en\u00a0vaccins va se poursuivre pour atteindre une cible encore plus large et une phase intensive avec la production de vaccins par l\u2019Institut Pasteur de Dakar (IPD), d\u00e8s 2022.<\/p>\n<p>M.\u00a0Sarr a rappel\u00e9 que les tests diagnostiques rapides produits par l\u2019IPD ont renforc\u00e9 \u2018\u2019consid\u00e9rablement\u2019\u2019 la d\u00e9tection des cas de COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Le S\u00e9n\u00e9gal compte depuis le 2 mars 2020, 67.579 cas de Covid-19.
