Un s\u00e9isme de magnitude 7.2 a secou\u00e9 Ha\u00efti samedi matin 14 ao\u00fbt, vers 8H30 heure locale (12h30 TU) selon le centre am\u00e9ricain de sismologie. La longue secousse a \u00e9t\u00e9 ressentie sur l’ensemble du pays et des d\u00e9g\u00e2ts mat\u00e9riels sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 enregistr\u00e9s dans les villes de J\u00e9r\u00e9mie et des Cayes, selon les images de t\u00e9moins dans la p\u00e9ninsule sud-ouest de l’\u00eele. Une alerte au tsunami a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e dans la foul\u00e9e par l’Agence nationale oc\u00e9anique et atmosph\u00e9rique am\u00e9ricaine avant d’\u00eatre rapidement lev\u00e9e.
