Braquage D’une Agence WAFA À Nord Foire

La Chambre criminelle de Dakar a condamné, hier, Lamine Sagna et Abdoulaye Dia-soldats de première classe au moment des faits- à 10 ans de prison ferme pour association de malfaiteurs, vol en réunion commis avec violence et usage d’armes, coups et blessures volontaires.
Les accusés avaient braqué l’agence Wafa Cash de Nord Foire le 27 mars 2019. Lors de ce «coup », ils avaient emporté la somme de 977. 429 Fcfa finalement jetée lorsqu’ils ont été pris en chasse par une foule en furie avant l’intervention rapide des gendarmes de la même localité.
Pendant l’enquête préliminaire, comme lors de l’instruction, les deux accusés n’avaient pas varié dans leurs déclarations. Par exemple, Abdoulaye Dia, à l’époque militaire en service au Groupement de soutien de l’armée de l’air détaché à la Section Sapeurs-pompiers, a affirmé que Sagna l’avait accompagné sur sa demande. Il a précisé que l’arme qu’il détenait pendant le braquage provenait du dépôt de son service et qu’il l’avait volée. Mieux ou pire, il avait tenté de justifier son acte par le fait qu’il devait baptiser son fils alors qu’il n’avait pas d’argent. (Libération)
