La Réélection De Mamadou Dia À La Tête D’Aquadef Les Jeunes De Podor S’En Félicitent

Mamadou Dia a été réélu en tant que Président de la Fédération Internationale Des Opérateurs Privés Des Services De L’eau (Aquadef). Qui regroupe plus de 402 sociétés de 42 pays, lors de l’Assemblée générale tenue à Paris la semaine dernière.

Cette réélection de Monsieur Mamadou Dia est, une reconnaissance par les pairs de son expertise et de sa grande expérience dans la gestion du service public d’eau. En tant que Gouverneur du Conseil Mondial de l’Eau il s’était beaucoup investi pour que le Sénégal soit désigné pour accueillir en 2021 le 9ème Forum Mondial de l’Eau.

Directeur Eau et Assainissement du Groupe Eranove et vice-président de la Sénégalaise Des Eaux,  (SDE), il est considéré comme, l’un des plus grands experts de l’hydraulique urbaine au Sénégal. Il a toujours mis son expérience au service du continent, en assurant, de 2006 à 2012, la présidence de l’Association Africaine de l’Eau (Aae). Il est également le seul africain jusque-là membre du Comité exécutif de l’International Water Association (Iwa).

En politique l’ancien maire de Demette appartient à la majorité présidentielle. Il a d’ailleurs, été tête de liste de la grande coalition Benno Bokk Yakaar (Bby) lors des élections municipales et départementales de 2014, où il avait obtenu 55 voix sur les 56 votants, Mamdou Dia est aussi homme de confiance du ministre des finances et du budget Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, qui lui voue un respect incommensurable.

Très courtois, M. Dia est considéré comme le plus grand un régulateur social du département, un homme honnête et très sociable comme en attestent beaucoup de jeunes de Podor.
