L’Homme Qui A Giflé Emmanuel Macron Condamné A 18 Mois De Prison Dont 4 Ferme

Le parquet a requis, jeudi 10 juin, à Valence une peine de 18 mois de prison contre Damien T., qui a reconnu à l’audience avoir, deux jours plus tôt, giflé le président Emmanuel Macron lors d’un déplacement dans la Drôme.

Damien T., l’homme qui a agressé le président de la République, Emmanuel Macron, lors d’une visite dans la Drôme, a été condamné à à dix-huit mois de prison dont quatre ferme, jeudi 10 juin. Il était jugé à Valence en comparution immédiate deux jours après les faits qui ont suscité un soutien unanime des responsables politiques. Le tribunal de Valence a assorti cette peine d’un mandat de dépôt, signifiant que Damien T. sera emprisonné dès jeudi soir.

Le parquet avait requis une peine de dix-huit mois de prison, sans aménagement de peine, contre le jeune homme, âgé de 28 ans, qui a reconnu à l’audience avoir giflé le chef de l’Etat. Le procureur a réclamé un mandat de dépôt à son encontre.

Cette gifle, « parfaitement inadmissible », est un « acte de violence délibérée », a soutenu le représentant du ministère public face au prévenu. « Il n’y a pas d’incapacité temporaire totale mais il y a un acte violent », a ajouté le magistrat, soulignant que le président « n’a pas souhaité voir un médecin ». « Je ne demande pas d’amende mais je vous demande d’envisager de prononcer à son encontre une interdiction définitive d’exercer une fonction publique », ainsi qu’une interdiction du droit de vote pour cinq ans maximum et une interdiction de détention d’arme pour la même durée, a déclaré le magistrat, qui avait rappelé que Damien T. encourait trois ans de prison et 45 000 euros d’amende. Le procureur s’est inquiété d’un possible risque de récidive, disant percevoir « une sorte de détermination froide » chez cet homme inconnu de la justice.
