Covid-19 : L’Afrique Franchit La Barre Des 100.000 Cas Positifs

Le 6 février 2020, l’Afrique enregistrait son premier cas testé positif au nouveau coronavirus en Égypte. Même si le continent a pu déjouer les scénarios les plus pessimistes, il a fini de voir les 54 États qui le composent être «contaminés». Ce 21 mai, après plus de trois mois depuis l’entrée de la Covid-19 en Afrique, la barre des cent mille (100000) cas déclarés positifs a été franchie. Avec 101683 patients répertoriés.Plus de 4500 nouveaux cas ont été recensés aujourd’hui pour 91 décès. Malgré cela, l’Afrique reste le continent le moins touché par la pandémie avec un taux de guérison de plus de 40%. Mieux, deux pays africains ne comptent plus de cas sur leur territoire. Il s’agit des Seychelles et de l’île Maurice. Le Sénégal compte 2.812 cas testés positifs, le plaçant à la 10ème position sur le continent noir
