Amadou Ngom Guèye, ingénieur à Renault (France), sera jugé ce lundi, devant le tribunal des flagrants délits pour avoir agressé le professeur Moussa Seydi, en première ligne dans la lutte contre le coronavirus. Déféré mercredi dernier devant le procureur, Amadou Ngom Guèye a été placé sous mandat de dépôt le même jour.
Samedi dernier, alors qu’il sortait d’un enterrement aux cimetières de Yoff, le professeur Seydi a été interpellé par un individu qui conduisait un scooter. A la suite d’un court échange, l’individu s’est mis à le taxer de « criminel » allant même jusqu’à l’accuser de cacher le nombre des décès liés au coronavirus. Cela n’ayant pas suffi, il a poursuivi le professeur Seydi, qui se trouvait dans sa voiture, en tapant sur les vitres.
Lors de son interrogatoire, le mis en cause a expliqué en vouloir au professeur et à l’Etat du parce qu’un de ses amis, qui a perdu en France son fils décédé du coronavirus, n’a pas pu rapatrier son corps au Sénégal pour les besoins de l’enterrement. Or, d’après Amadou Guèye Ngom, qui cite des revues scientifiques, les dépouilles des personnes mortes de la Covid-19 ne présenteraient aucun risque de contamination.
