Arrachés à l’affection de leurs deux enfants, Modou F. et sa femme, Ramatoulaye S., âgés de 40 ans, étaient à la tête d’un vaste réseau de trafic de drogue implanté à Grand-Yoff. Ils ont été démasqués par les éléments de la Section de Recherches qui avaient installé un dispositif de surveillance près de leur domicile à la Cité Millionnaire le 7 février 2020. Arrêtée deux jours plus tard, alors qu’elle venait de remettre un sachet contenant 1kg de chanvre indien à Pierre G., Ramatoulaye a été conduite manu militari chez elle. Là, les hommes en bleu ont trouvé, sous son lit, trois sacs et des cornets de l’herbe illicite d’un poids total de 200kg. Interrogée, la mise en cause informe qu’elle a agi sur instruction de son conjoint qui se livrait à ce trafic depuis un an avec la complicité d’un marabout du nom de Cheikh Abdou Mbacké. Et c’est celui-ci et son chauffeur, Lassana, qui ont amené le produit nocif la veille de son arrestation à 23h. Pierre G. a admis avoir acquis le kilogramme de chanvre indien à crédit à 50.000 francs pour sa consommation personnelle. Appréhendé à Fatick, après trois jours de cavale, Modou F. conforte sa dulcinée, déclarant qu’il a acheté la drogue en Gambie. Cependant, le trio a changé de fusil d’épaule devant la chambre criminelle de Dakar. Le couple a argué que la drogue appartient à Cheikh Abdou Mbacké. « Il m’avait dit que sa voiture était tombée en panne. Je ne savais pas qu’il avait caché du chanvre indien dans les deux sacs que les enquêteurs ont saisis dans les toilettes », avance Modou F., incarcéré par le passé pour les mêmes faits. Né en 1990, Pierre G. a argué avoir acheté la drogue auprès de Nar qu’il avait connu en cellule de garde à vue au commissariat de Grand-Yoff. « Ramatoulaye m’a trouvé dans la fourgonnette. Je ne la connais pas », lance-t-il.
Pour le Ministère public, il n’y a pas de doute que la drogue appartenait à Modou F., puisque l’instruction a lavé Cheikh Abdou Mbacké de tout soupçon. A cet effet, le maître des poursuites a requis dix ans de réclusion criminelle contre les accusés. Me Youssoupha Camara a sollicité la disqualification des faits en détention de drogue en vue de l’usage pour Pierre G. Malgré les dénégations de Modou F., son avocat a plaidé coupable, avant de solliciter une application bienveillante de la loi. « Ses deux enfants sont laissés à eux-mêmes. C’est son mari qui l’aurait peut-être entraînée dans ce trafic », a relevé Me Fatimata Sall, avocate de Ramatoulaye S. qui a sollicité subsidiairement la clémence. Mise en délibéré, l’affaire sera vidée le 17 mai prochain. (Source REWMI)
