C’est un Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo clair dans ses explications qui a apporté un démenti cinglant à Ousmane Sonko sur les prétentions de l’opposition. La première loi articulée autour d’un programme sur le coût de la vie a été rapidement évacuée par le Ministre des Finances. «Je veux leur dire qu’ils sont très, très, très en retard. On ne leur parlera pas de littérature ni de droit, mais d’économie. Ils doivent savoir que l’économie, ce n’est pas de la propagande, c’est du réel et c’est du très sérieux. L’opposition ne sait pas que le coût de la vie est bâti sur trois paramètres fondamentaux. Le premier concerne l’administration des prix, et à ce niveau, je dois à la vérité de dire qu’il n’y aura jamais un Président de la République qui fera autant que le Président Macky Sall qui a d’abord travaillé à maintenir les prix à leur niveau», recadre le maire de Bokki Dialloubé. Selon lui, «cela n’a pas suffi, il a travaillé à exonérer, voire à exempter définitivement les droits de Douane. Cela aussi n’ayant pas suffi, le Président Macky a travaillé à subventionner les produits de base et ceux de première nécessité en injectant 57 milliards FCFA. Comme si cela ne suffisait pas, il a subventionné les produits les plus essentiels, surtout l’énergie. Effectivement, si rien n’a été fait, nous aurions payé des prix qui dépassent le litre de Gasoil à 1130 FCFA alors qu’il nous revient présentement à 675 FCFA. Et cet effort, c’est plus de 550 milliards FCFA de compense. Parce qu’en plus du renchérissement du prix du baril, nous avons la surévaluation du dollar par rapport à l’euro de plus de 25%. Rien que ça aurait suffi à augmenter les prix». Dans tous les pays du monde sans exception, ajoute l’hôte d’El hadji Malick Gaye, «les prix ont augmenté et l’inflation moyenne, c’est-à-dire l’augmentation des prix en moyenne est de 10%. Sur cela, il ne peut pas y avoir de loi et je rappelle que l’Assemblée nationale n’a pas vocation à administrer. Elle est une force de proposition certes, mais la politique d’une nation est définie par le président de la République, et c’est son gouvernement qui est chargé de son application. Par conséquent, il ne faut que l’opposition nous mette dans la diversion, cela ne passera pas».
Concernant la loi sur le revenu du pétrole et du gaz que cette opposition compte introduire, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo se veut clair : «j’allais dire à ce sous groupe que j’ai l’impression qu’ils ne sont pas au Sénégal, car, ils ont apparemment oublié ce qui a été fait et qu’ils sont particulièrement dépassés à ce niveau. Il y a un an à peine, le Président de la République avait convié toutes les forces vives de la nation, en tout cas, ceux-là qui sont sérieux et soucieux du Sénégal, à l’élaboration d’une loi portant sur la répartition des revenus du pétrole et du gaz. Cette loi a été votée et il n’y a rien qui puisse amener l’opposition à revoir ce travail important mené de main de maître par le chef de l’Etat», rappelle Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo pour s’en réjouir
