Le livre « le protocole de l’Elysée » sorti récemment continue toujours de susciter des commentaires de la part des tenants du régime en place,les uns aussi farfelus que les autres allant même jusqu’à s’attaquer à la personne de son auteur Thierno Alassane Sall qui est souvent dépeint comme un homme hostile,rebelle rancunier, voire haineux. Cependant, une étude minutieuse du parcours de TAS nous fait découvrir une autre facette de la personne à travers les épreuves qu’il a dû traverser courageusement et dans la dignité rien que pour sauvegarder ses principes et les valeurs auxquelles il a toujours été fidèle.Ce bel ouvrage n’est pas une breviére où l’auteur fait ses éloges ou un étalage de ses prouesses académiques ou professionnelle pour se livrer à quelque ostentation que ce soit,loin s’en faut d’ailleurs.On note dans l’ouvrage, la persistance d’éléments factuels avec preuves et parfois témoins à l’appui dans tous les combats qu’il a eu à livrer au niveau de toutes les stations qu’il a eu à occuper .En lisant ses confidences , on a une petite idée sur la personnalité réelle de l’homme En effet,le paragraphe 16 du livre à la page 241 en est une parfaite illustration: lorsqu’il raconte son retour à l’ASECNA en tant que Ministre des Infrastructures et des Transports Aériens,
Il nous confesse que dès sa première prise de fonction,ce fut un moment d’intenses émotions car il allait retrouver après plusieurs années ,des personnes qui l’avaient combattu sans raison.Tous les augures furent rapidement à prédire l’éviction de telle ou telle personne , surtout que pour certains leur cas de trahison, de déloyauté et de méchanceté étaient flagrants en l’occurrence son remplaçant au poste de représentant de l »ASECNA,un proche collaborateur de l’ancien ministre Farba Senghor.Un homme qui était une véritable taupe au service du clan de Farba Senghor et de ses ennemis . Ainsi,en tant que ministre des transports, Thierno avait l’opportunité de prendre sa revanche sur les traîtres car le couteau qu’on lui avait planté dans le dos était désormais entre ses propres mains. Dans cette situation de confort et de pouvoir, d’aucuns n’hésiteraient pas à leur renvoyer l’ascenseur en usant de la « loi du Talion ». Car il avait la meilleure des revanches.
Mais, contre toute attente ,comme à son habitude et selon ses principes, il avait tout pardonné , arguant que ce serait vanité que de prétendre servir son pays et de poursuivre en même temps des objectifs personnels et revanchards .
En plus, le moment était venu de leur servir une leçon de vie en leur faisant comprendre que la vengeance est l’arme des faibles.
Afin! cette anecdote nous montre clairement et à suffisance que Thierno Alassane Sall a été toujours un homme bon, digne, et honnête contrairement à l’image injuste que ses détracteurs ont insidieusement voulu entretenir aux yeux de l’opinion,mais c’est peine perdue puisque les Sénégalais ne sont pas dupes et savent bien reconnaître dans ce landerneau politique,les hommes de valeurs et de principes.
