Le Mouvement pour la Défense de la Démocratie (M2D) informe les Sénégalaises et les Sénégalais avoir reçu Serigne Bassirou Mbacké Porokhane, émissaire du Khalife général des mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké.
Au terme des échanges, le M2D a accepté la demande de report de la manifestation du samedi 13 mars 2021 formulée par le vénéré khalife.
En retour, le M2D a transmis au Khalif un mémorandum en 10. Ces dix points sont:
1. Libérer immédiatement et sans condition tous les prisonniers politiques incarnés et annuler toutes les poursuites contre eux.
2. Mettre en place une Commission nationale indépendante, inclusive et ouverte à la société civile, à l’opposition et aux leaders religieux, entre autres, pour évaluer les réparations et les indemnités à accorder aux familles des victimes et évaluer leur bonne exécution
3. Mettre fin immédiatement au complot politico-judiciaire fomenté contre Ousmane Sonko et s’abstenir de toute nouvelle charge contre lui: restituer son immunité parlementaire
4. Ouvrir une enquête indépendante pour retrouver et traduire devant les juridictions nationales et/ou internationales tous ceux qui, dans les forces de l’ordre comme parmi les nervis et miliciens recrutés par le pouvoir, se sont rendus coupables de crimes dans les manifestations ainsi que leurs commanditaires
5. Arrêter immédiatement la persécution des opposants, les menaces et intimidations, y compris par le biais des écoutes téléphones et des espionnages;
6. Restaurer les droits des acteurs politiques illégalement déchus de leurs droits pour les empêcher de présenter leur candidature à des élections;
7. S’engager publiquement à organiser les élections locales en 2021, les législatives en 2022 et la Présidentielle en 2024 dans des conditions libres, démocratiques et transparentes;
8. Reconnaitre publiquement l’impossibilité constitutionnelle et morale à briguer un troisième mandat
9. Exiger l’audit de la gestion des secteurs sociaux stratégiques tels que l’hydraulique, notamment rurale, ainsi que la santé et l’éducation
10. L’arrêt immédiat de l’accaparement foncière, l’audit du patrimoine foncier national
Le M2D place son entière confiance en l’autorité morale des vénérés Khalifes de toutes les confréries et de l’Eglise et leur souhaite de trouver, pour une fois, une oreille attentive auprès du Président Macky Sall pour une paix durable dans le pays.
Le M2D remercie le peuple sénégalais, notamment les jeunes, pour la confiance placée dans le mouvement.
