Les caisses de l’Etat ont subi les affres de la pandémie de Covid-19. Le budget en est une parfaite illustration. En 2021, le budget du Sénégal sera de 3 900 milliards, selon la loi de finance initiale.
La révélation a été faite par le chef de l’Etat Macky Sall, ce mardi, à l’occasion du Conseil présidentiel sur la relance de l’économie. Le Sénégal perd ainsi plus de 300 milliards par rapport à l’année dernière. En effet, le budget était de 4 215 milliards en 2020.
A l’image du budget, le taux de croissance est aussi passé de 6% en 2019 à moins de 1% (0,7%, selon le Fmi) en 2020. Le déficit budgétaire s’est aussi creusé de 3% du Pib à 6% durant la même période.
L’année 2021 sera ainsi une année de relance. «Avec la maîtrise escomptée de la pandémie durant l’année 2020, il est attendu un retour de la dynamique de croissance économique à partir de 2021, avec un taux projeté actuellement à 5,7%», indiquait à ses services le ministre des Finances et du Budget, Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, à travers une circulaire.
