Police: Seydou Bocar Yague Nouveau Directeur De La Police Nationale

Changement à la tête de la Police nationale : à suivre nos confrères d’Emedia, le président de la République, Macky Sall, a procédé, en Conseil des ministres de ce mercredi 21 avril 2021, à la nomination au poste de Directeur général de la Police nationale (DGPN) de M. Seydou Bocar Yague.

Ce dernier occupait jusqu’ici le poste de Directeur général adjoint de la Police nationale où il avait déjà remplacé son prédécesseur, Ousmane Sy, DGPN sortant. Commissaire de police divisionnaire de classe exceptionnelle, Seydou Bocar Yague jouit d’une belle réputation d’excellent enquêteur, notamment lors de son passage à la Direction de la Police judiciaire (DPJ). Depuis près de trois ans (aout 2018), il faisait office de Directeur général adjoint de la Police.

Son ascension fait de lui la 2e autorité de la Police à passer de ce poste à la station majeure de la Direction générale, après Ousmane Sy qui avait remplacé Oumar Maal en 2018 après avoir été son adjoint.
