Le ministre de l’Intérieur, Aly Ngouille Ndiaye, fera face à la presse, vendredi, pour se prononcer sur les nouvelles mesures prises par son département dans le cadre de la lutte contre la propagation de la pandémie de Covid-19.
La rencontre prévue à 16H00, à la salle de conférence du ministère (4ème étage), fait suite aux instructions du président de la République, Macky Sall, précise la même source.
Le chef de l’Etat a demandé mercredi au gouvernement de déployer « un dispositif spécial » permettant aux services de sécurité de contrôler l’accès aux lieux publics sur le territoire national, dans le cadre de la lutte contre la propagation de la pandémie de Covid-19, a appris l’APS de source officielle.
« Le président de la République, abordant l’implication des jeunes dans la lutte contre la pandémie de Covid-19, a lancé un appel à la jeunesse pour conforter au quotidien le plaidoyer communautaire pour l’observance généralisée des mesures barrières et le port obligatoire et systématique du masque dans les transports et les lieux recevant du public, sous peine d’amende en cas d’infraction’’, rapporte le communiqué du Conseil des ministres.
A ce sujet, il a demandé ‘’au ministre de l’Intérieur et au ministre des Forces armées de déployer sur le terrain un dispositif spécial de régulation et de contrôle de l’accès aux plages et des rassemblements publics, sur l’étendue du territoire national ».
Le Sénégal a enregistré jeudi 177 nouveaux cas de coronavirus, 5 décès supplémentaires et 113 guérisons.
A la date d’aujourd’hui, le Sénégal comptabilise 10 715 cas de covid-19 dont 7101 guéris, 223 décès et 3390 patients sous traitement, selon le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale.
