DESTINATION SÉNÉGAL : La Slovaquie Débarque En Touriste

Plus de 180 touristes venus de la Slovaquie ont atterri, samedi, à Diass (ouest), à l’initiative de l’agence de tourisme slovaque Hydrotour et de l’Agence sénégalaise de promotion touristique (ASPT), dans le cadre de la relance post-Covid de l’activité touristique au Sénégal, a constaté l’APS.
Les touristes arrivés dans un vol inaugural de Hydrotour, avec un avion charter, vont visiter plusieurs zones du Sénégal, dont la station balnéaire de Saly-Portudal et les îles du Saloum (ouest).
Leur visite marque la relance de cette façon de faire visiter le pays aux touristes, que l’ASPT ne pratiquait plus à cause de la pandémie de coronavirus.
‘’La Slovaquie est un nouveau marché pour nous. Et dans le cadre de la relance post-Covid, il est important de définir une nouvelle stratégie de promotion de la destination Sénégal’’, a expliqué, lors d’une cérémonie d’accueil des touristes, le coordonnateur du pôle chargé de la prospection des nouveaux marchés à l’ASPT, Khadim Amar.
L’Agence sénégalaise de promotion touristique s’est associée à l’agence de tourisme slovaque, dans le cadre de sa politique de conquête de nouveaux marchés et de diversification du tourisme au Sénégal, selon M. Amar.
L’ASPT veut faire de même avec d’autres pays, dont la Belgique, le Luxembourg, le Portugal et le Royaume-Uni.
L’agence chargée de la promotion du tourisme a entrepris cette démarche pour faire visiter le pays au plus grand nombre de touristes et de relancer l’activité touristique, qui a été fortement affectée par la pandémie de Covid-19.
