ÉCOLE DE SANTÉ : Le Ministre De La Santé Durcit Le Ton Et Annonce Une Évaluation Systématique

Les écoles de santé seront désormais ‘’systématiquement évaluées’’, et ‘’des dispositions seront prises pour des curricula qui adressent directement le comportement’’, a annoncé, jeudi à Dakar, le ministre de la Santé et de l’Action sociale, Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr.

‘’Les écoles de formation en santé seront évaluées systématiquement et nous allons voir avec l’Autorité de contrôle de la qualité de l’Enseignement Supérieur pour voir les curricula’’, a-t-il indiqué lors d’une conférence de presse dans le cadre des rencontres dites ‘’Le gouvernement face à la presse’’.

Il répondait à une question relative à l’affaire Astou Sokhna, une jeune femme décédée en couches à la maternité de l’hôpital régional de Louga (nord), le 1er avril dernier.

Six sages-femmes de cette structure sanitaire sont poursuivies dans le cadre de cette affaire pour non-assistance à personne en danger.

Le tribunal de grande instance de Louga (Nord) a renvoyé leur procès au 5 mai prochain. Quatre des six sages-femmes placées sous mandat de dépôt depuis le 19 avril sont sous mandat de dépôt. Les deux autres avaient été inculpées et remises en liberté.

‘’Au-delà de la technique, il y a le comportement et même le développement personnel, et nous allons voir comment adresser directement le comportement dans la formation des personnels de santé’’, a déclaré ce jeudi le ministre de la Santé et de l’Action sociale.

Il a signalé qu’‘’entre 2020 et 2022, 1.500 agents de santé ont été recrutés sans compter 900 personnels de santé recrutés dans le cadre du projet +Investir dans la santé maternelle, néonatale et infantile+ (ISMEA)’’. ‘’Ce qui fait qu’en deux ans, de 2020 à 2022, 2.300 personnels ont été recrutés dans le système de santé’’, a-t-il précisé.

Concernant les urgences et l’accueil dans les structures de santé, il a indiqué qu‘’’il y a un travail à poursuivre, car toute urgence doit être prise en charge une fois arrivé dans une structure de santé’’
