Pour rappel, lors du procès, le père de la victime, qui a regretté son acte, dit avoir payé 250 mille francs CFA afin que son fils puisse voyager. Son acte a été motivé par le fait que beaucoup de jeunes du quartier ont voyagé et ont, aujourd’hui, réussi leur vie. « Si je savais qu’il allait mourir, je ne dépenserais pas mon argent », avait-il regretté.
