1- Lors de sa 22e session ordinaire tenue par visioconférence le 25 mars 2021, la Conférence des Chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement de l’UEMOA a pris acte de l’expiration des mandats du Président et des membres de la Commission de l’UEMOA à compter du 08 mai 2021.
2- La Conférence a aussi décidé de confier la Présidence de la Commission de l’UEMOA au candidat proposé par la République du Sénégal et a instruit que la nomination des membres de la Commission, sur proposition des Chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement, intervienne au plus tard le 1er mai 2021.
3- En exécution de cette diligence, deux Actes additionnels portant respectivement nomination des membres de la Commission de l’UEMOA et du Président de la Commission ont été signés ce jour 14 avril 2021 par Son Excellence Monsieur Roch Marc Christian KABORE, Président du Faso, Président en exercice de la Conférence des Chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement de l’Union.
4- Au titre du premier Acte, sont nommés membres de la Commission de l’UEMOA:
‘ – Monsieur Jonas GBIAN, au titre de la République du Bénin,
– Monsieur Filiga Michel SAWADOGO, au titre du Burkina Faso, -Monsieur Paul Koffi KOFFI, au titre de la République de Côte d’Ivoire,
-Monsieur Mamadù Serifo JAQUITE, au titre de la République de Guinée-Bissau, Monsieur Lassine BOUARE, au titre de la République du Mali,
-Monsieur Mahamadou GADO, au titre de la République du Niger,
-Monsieur Abdoulaye DIOP, au titre de la République du Sénégal,
-Monsieur Kako NUBUKPO, au titre de la République Togolaise.
5- Au titre du second Acte, Monsieur Abdoulaye DIOP (ndrl, ancien ministre du Budget et jusque-là conseiller du Président
est nommé Président de la Commission de l’UEMOA.
