Du nouveau dans l’affaire de la saisie importante, par la Sûreté urbaine, de faux médicaments dans une maison sise à Patte d’Oie. Les 06 personnes qui ont été arrêtées et placées en garde à vue au commissariat central de Dakar sont déférées devant le parquet, ce lundi. Les mis en cause sont poursuivis pour association de malfaiteurs, trafic de faux médicaments et mise en danger de la vie d’autrui.
La Sûreté urbaine (Su) a démantelé ce réseau de trafiquants de faux médicaments dans la nuit du mardi 13 au mercredi 14 avril dernier.
La plupart de ces médicaments ne sont pas autorisés à la commercialisation au Sénégal et les autres ne respectent pas les conditions de stockage et de conservation.
En effet, ces médicaments, portant sur plusieurs tonnes d’une valeur de plusieurs milliards F Cfa, ont été stockés dans une maison délabrée.
Constitués essentiellement de ringer lactate, glucose, perfuseurs, seringues, alcool, les médicaments étaient stockés dans les cuisines et les toilettes, à même le sol. D’après des informations parvenues à Seneweb, ils étaient envoyés depuis la Chine, par la société Zhimin.
Les Chinois impliqués dans cette affaire ont constitué un pool d’avocats pour assurer leur défense
