Le match entre Manchester United et Liverpool n’aura finalement pas lieu ce dimanche 2 mai. Une heure avant la rencontre des supporters des Mancuniens ont pénétré sur la pelouse pour protester contre la gestion de la famille Glazer, propriétaire du club. Ce qui a poussé la Premier League a reporté le match, à une date ultérieure.

Alors que Manchester United devait affronter Liverpool dans le fameux dans une rencontre de gala, les supporters des Red Devils ont envahi la pelouse d’Old Trafford pour afficher leur mécontentement face à la politique menée par les propriétaires du club et l’initiative Super League. Dans un premier temps décalé à 17h30, ce match n’aura finalement pas lieu ce dimanche.
