Le verdict du procès pour diffamation opposant le président de l’Union des Magistrats du Sénégal (UMS), Souleymane Téliko et le Président du groupe Avenir communication, Madiambal Diagne vient de tomber.
En effet, le juge du Tribunal correctionnel a condamné Madiambal à 3 mois ferme de prison en plus de 600 millions FCFA d’amende et 500 millions à titre de dommage et intérêts.
Une sanction qui fait suite à l’audience tenue le 3 juin dernier, où Souleymane Téliko a réclamé au directeur général du Groupe « Avenir communication » 500 millions FCFA à titre de dommages et intérêts.
Pour rappel, Madiambal Diagne est poursuivi pour diffamation par Souleymane Teliko, aprés avoir déclaré dans l’émission Grand Jury de Rfm, du 29 mars dernier, que le juge avait indûment perçu des frais de mission dans le cadre de l’affaire Hissein Habré
