« Le frère secrétaire général national, maître Abdoulaye Wade, a été informé par la fédération départementale de Saint- Louis de la convocation de réunions par M. Ameth Fall Braya au nom du Parti démocratique sénégalais, en dehors des instances régulières alors qu’il s’est auto exclu du parti depuis 2019. Le frère secrétaire général national, Me Abdoulaye Wade considère le geste de Braya comme un acte de défiance et une tentative de saborder le parti, intervenant malgré le ferme avertissement qu’il lui avait adressé en réponse à sa lettre du 25 juin 2021.
En conséquence, le secrétaire général national demande aux militantes et militants, aux mouvements de soutien, aux sympathisantes et sympathisants, de rester unis et vigilants dans la vaste mobilisation déjà enclenchée autour du frère Mayoro Faye désigné pour coordonner le parti dans le département de Saint-Louis.
Le frère secrétaire général national exprime à la fédération départementale de Saint-Louis son soutien ainsi que ses encouragements pour l’important travail engagé en direction des élections locales prévues le 23 janvier 2022 et au-delà à fait savoir maitre Wade dans un communiqué.
