La compagnie Air Sénégal a décidé de se doter de nouveaux avions pour remplacer une partie de sa flotte. Selon Ibrahima Kane, directeur de la compagnie « dans le cadre de la transformation de sa flotte, Air Sénégal va accueillir, sous forme de leasing, les tous derniers appareils d’Airbus A220 qui vont venir progressivement remplacer les appareils de moyenne taille entre 120 et 150 places », a-t-il fait savoir dans le journal de 20h de la RTS ce lundi 17 mai.
Ainsi, 4 avions seront changés et les nouveaux appareils arriveront à partir de la fin de cette année. Ces nouvelles acquisitions aideront la compagnie, d’après son Dg, à faire des économies sur les coûts d’exploitation. « Ce sont des appareils qui vont nous permettre d’opérer avec 25% de moins en coût carburant, 17% de moins en coût de maintenance et un produit tout neuf avec tout le confort à bord », se projette-t-il
