Même si aucun acte n’a été encore posé par le Professeur pour confirmer son retrait, les premiers pas franchis sont annonciateurs d’une démission officielle imminente, rapporte L’Observateur.
Pour preuve, le Professeur Seydi a donné ordre au personnel médical, qu’il avait mis à la disposition du Crcf, de quitter les lieux avec seringues et blouses. L’équipe composée de deux médecins, pour la prise en charge médicale, une infirmière et une secrétaire médicale, a rejoint le Service des maladies infectieuses et tropicales (Smit). Il s’y ajoute qu’il n’a pas pris part à la dernière rencontre du Conseil d’administration du 18 mai, alors qu’il a été invité pour discuter des points suivants inscrits à l’ordre du jour: validation règlement intérieur; présentation du rapport financier ; présentation des projets de recherches en cours et perspectives.
Pis, tous les malades ambulatoires, environ 2000, qui étaient traités au sein du Cref seront désormais suivis par le Smit. Seulement, le Cref n’avait pas mis du temps pour prendre possession des bureaux des ex-collaborateurs du Professeur Seydi. Puisqu’à l’instant où certains s’apprêtaient à déménager, une équipe de menuiserie était sur les lieux pour changer les serrures. Des actes assez discourtois, aux yeux de certains médecins, que le Professeur Seydi a fait constater par un huissier de justice. Au début, le Professeur Seydi était le vice-président du Cref. Mais de nombreuses prérogatives ont été transférées au secrétaire général. C’était en 2013. Et, le Professeur avait demandé la suppression du poste de vice-président et la réactualisation de celui de Coordonnateur occupé par son prédécesseur», expliquent des sources hospitalières.
Le bureau du Cref a comme Président du Conseil d’administration, Dr Ibra Ndoye, Coordonnateur Moussa Seydi, Secrétaire général Dr Karim Diop et Trésorier Pr Bara Ndiaye.
