Sacré Cheikh Oumar Hanne ! L’enseignement supérieur est le département ministériel le plus malchanceux au Sénégal. Le président Macky Sall a un véritable problème de casting pour son gouvernement.
Son actuel ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur de la Recherche et de l’Innovation (MESRI) est vraiment un cas pour beaucoup de sénégalais. Depuis que Cheikh Oumar Hanne est à la tête de ce département, les grèves des étudiants s’intensifient, certaines universités sont au bord de l’asphyxie. Et pour couronner le tout, le ministre a un très grand problème avec le français.
Le Président Macky Sall devrait revoir le profil des ministres qui l’entourent. Quelqu’un comme Cheikh Oumar ANNE n’honore ni le gouvernement ni le département qu’il dirige. Connu pour son français « médiocre », le MESRI a servi un discours laconique lors du passage du Chef de l’Etat à Ndioum dans le cadre de sa tournée économique.
Du haut du présidium, il a massacré la langue de Molière devant toutes les personnes qui étaient venues accueillir le locataire du Palais. « Madame et monsieur les représentants et représentantes de la représentation nationale. Madame et monsieur les conseillers départementaux et les conseillers municipaux… », a-t-il lâché devant le président et ses collègues ministres.
Cette déclaration a fait un tollé sur les réseaux sociaux. Cheikh Oumar ANNE qui a en charge l’Enseignement supérieur est devenu la risée des internautes depuis lundi soir. Très remontés, es habitués du net ont rejeté la faute sur le Président Macky qui, selon eux, devait mettre la personne qu’il faut à un poste aussi stratégique. Mary Teuw Niane qui a saisi le ballon au rebond s’est payé la tête de son collègue.
Sur sa page Facebook, l’ancien ministre de l’enseignement supérieur et candidat à la mairie de Saint-Louis a lancé piques à Cheikh Oumar Hanne. « Face au déluge de fautes de français de très hauts responsables, je ne peux m’empêcher de parodier le grand Lénine : ‘’La catastrophe littéraire imminente et les moyens grammaticaux de la conjurer’’. Encore Lénine : ‘’Que faire ?’’ Chers collègues instituteurs, nous avons besoin de votre aide », écrit le Professeur Mary Teuw Niane sur le réseau social. Un post qui a fait réagir plus d’un. Même Mame Diarra Fam en a profité pour écorcher le maire de Ndioum.
Le MESRI est un département stratégique dans la bonne marche du pays. Il veille au développement de la recherche fondamentale et appliquée dans les universités, instituts et écoles nationales et privées supérieures de formation. Mais si la personne qui a en charge ce domaine a des lacunes en langage et communication, faire le travail sera très difficile voire impossible pour lui. Et c’est le président Macky Sall qui risque de payer le prix fort. « Quelle calamité ! Il n’y a que Macky Sall qui ose ça », écrit un internaute sur Facebook.
Et pendant que les étudiants de l’université du Sine-Saloum El Hadj Ibrahima Niass et leurs camarades de Thiès sont dans les rues pour réclamer de meilleures conditions de travail et de vie au sein des campus, le ministre ANNE se perd dans la tournée économique du président Macky Sall. En effet, ces étudiants alertent, depuis quelque temps, sur le manque de considération et la cacophonie qui règne au niveau de leurs établissements. Au moment où Cheikh Oumar Hanne et ses camarades de parti ont mobilisé 150 millions pour cette visite du Chef de l’Etat dans le Nord.
L’administration sénégalaise a besoin de réformes. Des ministres qui massacrent la langue officielle de l’administration, ne doivent plus figurer dans aucun gouvernement. Le Président Macky Sall est appelé à rectifier le tir au prochain remaniement s’il ne veut pas en payer le prix fort lors des élections de 2022 et 2024.
