La commune de Keur Massar est désormais érigée en département . L’annonce a été faite jeudi par le chef de l’Etat, lors de sa visite dans les zones et  quartiers inondés de Banlieue.

Les populations de Keur Massar sont aux anges. Leur localité sera  érigée en département par le Président Macky Sall.  « J’ai décidé maintenant de faire de Keur Massar un nouveau département », a-t-il annoncé sous une pluie d’applaudissement.
