La vague de démissions de militants et de responsables politiques se poursuit à Rewmi. En effet, Mouhamadou Dieng, qui était jusqu’ici le secrétaire national chargé de l’administration, de l’information et de la base de données de la jeunesse du parti politique d’Idrissa Seck, vient d’annoncer sa démission.
«Mes chers compatriotes. Après une lettre officielle envoyée au président Idrissa Seck par ampliation au secrétaire national des jeunes du Rewmi et au secrétaire général du parti Rewmi, j’ai décidé de m’en ouvrir à vous, chers Sénégalais, pour vous faire part de ma décision à la suite de mûres, profondes et minutieuses réflexions, et après une analyse lucide et éclairée de la situation actuelle et en devenir, de démissionner de toutes mes fonctions dans le parti Rewmi et, par ricochet, de démissionner dudit parti», a-t-il annoncé dans une note parvenue à Seneweb.
Il ajoute : «Malgré les nombreuses perspectives, en espèces comme en nature, dues au fait de notre entrisme dans le gouvernement, et en dépit des promesses çà et là reçues, je décide d’un autre chemin, d’une autre voie.»
Selon Mouhamadou Dieng, sa décision est la «résultante d’un profond regret et synonyme d’une certaine tristesse». Il dit : «Le choix a été rude, la décision difficile. Mais face aux principes et aux valeurs qui fondent et forgent ma personnalité, nulle montagne affective ne pourrait s’y mesurer.»
A présent, le ci-devant membre fondateur de la communication digitale du parti Rewmi a décidé de «s’orienter, plus résolument, vers un autre cap et vers d’autres objectifs pour un Sénégal meilleur, dans le progrès de la République».
Et dans les prochains jours, semaines ou mois, parachevant sa réflexion, il promet de faire part de sa nouvelle orientation politique.
