Le Khalife général des Tidiane Serigne Babacar Sy Mansour a pris part, ce lundi, à la cérémonie de levée du corps de Mansour Kama. Vêtu d’un grand boubou traditionnel trois pièces de couleur vert, un masque sur le visage, le khalife qui est resté debout durant toute la cérémonie s’est prononcé sur la gestion de la pandémie du coronavirus au Sénégal.
Selon lui, la Covid-19 est une malédiction divine qui fait des ravages dans le monde. Ainsi, il demande aux autorités étatiques de dire la vérité aux populations. « Ce n’est pas le fait de donner un bilan quotidien et les discours qui permettront de trouver un remède contre cette pandémie. Il faut que l’Etat, ceux qui gèrent cette pandémie tiennent un langage de vérité aux populations qui ne comprennent toujours pas », a déclaré le khalife général des Tidianes. Qui, dans le même sillage, invite la classe politique Sénégalaise à arrêter les discours et de se mettre au travail pour le développement du pays. « Que les gens arrêtent de parler et qu’ils se mettent au travail. Ceux qui ont des ambitions pour ce pays doivent se mettre à l’œuvre. Qu’ils essayent d’accorder leurs violons et de travailler en harmonie », a sermonné Serigne Babacar Sy Mansour.
Auparavant, il est revenu sur ses relations avec le défunt Mansour Kama. A l’en croire, ils entretenaient d’étroites relations. « Il était un fervent musulman qui a bien accompli sa mission sur terre. Il a toujours assisté et soutenu ses parents, ses enfants et sa défunte épouse », a témoigné le Khalife
