Confinement Général au Sénégal : Les Citoyens se prononcent

Le Président Macky Sall n’écarte pas l’idée d’un confinement général. Ceci, si le coronavirus arrive à un niveau de propagation critique déclare t-il le week-end dernier,lors du lancement de l’opération de convoyage des vivres dans les quatorze régions pour l’assistance aux ménages vulnérables . La rédaction de SUNUPOST est allée à la rencontre des Sénégalais pour recueillir leur l’avis sur un éventuel confinement.

Mamadou Goumbala la soixante-dizaine dépassée habite dans la banlieue dakarois nous fait savoir : « l’État ne peut pas imposer un confinement général dans un pays comme le nôtre où le niveau de vie est très faible » Il ajoute « beaucoup de pères de famille peinent à trouver la dépense quotidienne. Une telle mesure serait chaotique pour les « gorgolou », conclut-il »

« Le confinement est le seul moyen qui peut freiner la propagation des cas de contaminations communautaires qui deviennent une menace pour tous » indique M. Soggo professeur au lycée de ouakam. Il appelle la population aux respects des mesures de prévention individuelle et collective dictées par les autorités sanitaires.

Malgré l’état d’urgence, assorti d’un couvre-feu de 20h à 6h du matin, décrété par le chef de l’État depuis le 23 mars, des rassemblements sont notés à Dakar . Le pays continue d’enregistrer des cas positifs depuis l’apparition du premier cas jusqu’à ce jour. Cette situation inquiète les autorités étatiques et sanitaires.

Un confinement général pourrait être appliqué au Sénégal, si la propagation de la maladie ne ralentit pas a fait savoir le Président de la République, pour limiter les risques de contamination.

Le Sénégal peut-il se confiner à l’instar des autres pays du monde? Ses 69 milliards de francs du programme d’aide alimentaire d’urgence serait elle suffisante? Quelle sera la vie des hommes et femmes journaliers du secteur informel? Tant de questions que se posent certains sénégalais.

  40. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave
    it to my 4 year old daughter and said « You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear. » She put
    the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a
    hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
