Situation covid-19 : 27 nouvelles infections et 2 nouveaux décès

Le ministère de la Santé et de l’Action sociale a annoncé dimanche avoir répertorié deux nouveaux décès et 27 nouvelles infections liées au Covid-19 pour le compte des dernières 24 heures.

Ces 27 nouvelles infections ont été enregistrées à partir de 1033 tests virologiques réalisés au cours de cette période, correspondant à un taux de positivité de 2,56%, a précisé le directeur de la Prévention, docteur El Hadj Mamadou Ndiaye, au cours du point quotidien consacré à l’évolution de la pandémie au Sénégal.

Les nouveaux cas positifs de Covid-19 comprennent 7 cas contacts déjà suivis par les services sanitaires et 20 nouvelles infections issues de la transmission communautaire, relatives à des patients dont on ignore l’origine de la contamination, a ajouté docteur Ndiaye.
La région de Dakar comptabilise l’essentiel de ces cas communautaires avec 17 patients, le reste de ces infections ayant été enregistré à Matam (2) et Tambacounda (1).
Le directeur de la Prévention a signalé que 49 patients avaient été contrôlés négatifs et déclarés guéris, alors que 14 cas graves sont pris en charge dans les services de réanimation.
Deux nouveaux décès portent à 119 le nombre total de personnes ayant perdu la vie de cette maladie, selon El Hadj Mamadou Ndiaye.
Le nombre total de patients Covid-19 s’élève à 40.692, dont 39.384 guéris, ce qui fait que 188 patients restent sous traitement, selon El Hadj Mamadou Ndiaye.
Il a de même indiqué que 427.377 personnes avaient reçu leur première dose de vaccin sur l’ensemble du territoire sénégalais, depuis le début de la campagne de vaccination fin février dernier.
