Quotidien Le Soleil : Les Travailleurs Mobilisent Plus D’Un Million Pour L’Opération « Faye Salaire yi »

Comme annoncé, il y a quelques jours, les travailleurs du quotidien national « Le Soleil » ont procédé, le jeudi 7 avril, pour le deuxième mois consécutif, à la remise de plus d’un million de francs CFA à leurs collègues injustement privés de salaire par le directeur général Yakham Mbaye. Ce montant a non seulement servi à payer les salaires des deux agents, mais à apporter un appui à un autre collègue « injustement » licencié en décembre 2021 pour avoir répondu à des insultes du directeur général M. Mbaye.

Dénommé Opération « Faye Salaires yi », cet acte de solidarité est une réponse des travailleurs qui ont ainsi décidé de ne pas laisser Yakham Mbaye humilier encore de nouvelles victimes. Tout le personnel a participé à cette opération de solidarité, mais aussi d’anciens du « Soleil » ainsi que d’autres agents abusivement licenciés par le directeur général (8 au total depuis 2017).

Contre l’avis de l’inspection du travail de Dakar, qui lui avait clairement indiqué que c’était illégal, Monsieur Mbaye a maintenu les décisions d’affectation de candidats au poste de délégué du personnel pour ensuite simplement ordonner le « non paiement de leur salaire ».
Les travailleurs du « Soleil », qui continuent d’interpeller le Président de la République, détenteur légitime du pouvoir et garant du respect des lois et des règlements, comptent, en guise de solidarité, poursuivre l’opération « Faye salaires yi » tant qu’il en sera ainsi et sont décidés à poursuivre la lutte.
