Cérémonie « Trophy Tour » : Du Trophée De La Can Prévu Ce Lundi

Le lancement de la Tournée nationale du trophée de la CAN, une initiative du président Macky Sall, est prévu ce lundi 16 mai au Musée des civilisations, informe un communiqué du comité d’organisation. Une cérémonie qui sera marquée par la présence des autorités sportives et des membres de la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF).
La tournée nationale baptisée « Trophy Tour » se fera dans les 14 régions du pays. « Son Excellence Monsieur Macky Sall a donné les instructions nécessaires au ministère des Sports et à la Fédération sénégalaise de football (FSF) pour que le trophée continental puisse être présenté aux populations. À cet effet, il a été retenu que la Coupe fera le tour des quatorze régions du Sénégal », lit-on dans le communiqué.

La date de démarrage, qui est prévue pour « très bientôt », sera communiquée ultérieurement. Mais, il est prévu qu’une animation d’artistes et de comédiens de renom accompagnera la caravane du « Trophy Tour », à travers les grandes artères des capitales régionales.

« Une cérémonie officielle de présentation du trophée aura lieu dans chaque région selon les modalités définies par les Gouverneurs en parfaite synergie avec les inspecteurs régionaux de sport et des présidents des Ligues régionales de football. Le point final des manifestations sera un concert avec une tête d’affiche et des artistes et autres comédiens du terroir », renseigne-t-on.

Après le sacre historique du Sénégal à la CAN « Cameroun 2021 », l’engouement des sénégalais pour le football a augmenté. Dans la foulée, les Lions de la Téranga ont décroché leur qualification pour le Mondial 2022 au Qatar.

Selon le Comité d’organisation du « Trophy Tour », la tournée participera au « maintien de l’animation et de l’engouement suscités par les récents résultats obtenus par Sadio Mané et ses co-équipiers à la suite du premier titre de Champion d’Afrique de la CAN Cameroun 2021 et de la qualification à la Coupe du Monde 2022 prévue au Qatar ».

Ce sera donc « un grand moment de communion et de partage de la fierté d’appartenir à une nation de sports et de sportifs ». « C’est un prétexte pour entretenir et consolider le sentiment national dans le travail et la solidarité », ajoute le communiqué.
