Les lions, 6 fois vainqueurs de la coupe d’Afrique, ont été reçus cet après-midi par le Chef de l’Etat”, informe la Présidence.
Le président Sall en a fait l’annonce en recevant cette équipe nationale, vainqueur, le 29e mai dernier, de l’édition 2021 de la Coupe d’Afrique des nations (CAN) de Beach Soccer aux dépens du Mozambique (4-1).
“Mes chers Lions, vous nous avez comblés de joie, honorés et rendu fiers. Il est juste que la nation vous honore. C’est le sens de cette cérémonie”, a dit Macky Sall.
“Je suis heureux de m’acquitter de cette dette, aujourd’hui, au nom de la République et de la nation. Ce n’est que justice.
