L’opposition et le pouvoir ne se donnent pas de répit depuis la publication provisoire des résultats des législatives du 31 juillet 2022, marqués par la victoire de la coalition Benno Bokk Yakaar. Parallèlement à la sortie de Maimouna Bousso, membre de la coalition Yewwi Askan Wi, s’attaquant aux responsables politiques du département de Podor, particulièrement ceux du Fouta, le Mouvement des Élèves et Étudiants Républicaines (MEER) de Podor n’a pas chômé. La structure des élèves et étudiants de la localité dirigée par Alassane Ba est montée au créneau pour apporter la réplique à la hauteur des attaques. Et, c’est le bilan de Macky Sall qui est mis en exergue.
Le mouvement a estimé dimanche 7 août 2022, que malgré les multiples tentatives de l’opposition visant à manipuler l’opinion nationale sur les résultats obtenus à Podor, ils(L’oppositions) continueront à échouer dans leurs manœuvres sournoises.
Pour le MEER/Podor, les réalisations du parti au pouvoir sont l’avocat du Président Macky Sall à Podor, et ce sont elles même, qui ont fait que les populations ont voté pour la coalition Bby, pour ainsi magnifier l’action du Président Macky Sall en faveur du département de Podor bénéficiaire de réalisations exceptionnelles, de Routes modernes, de Pistes de production, d’électrification rurale, de Bourses de sécurité familiale, de Prises en charge par la Couverture Maladie Universelle (CMU), etc
Selon Alassane Ba, en dix ans, dans tous les secteurs d’activités économiques, les clignotants sont au vert. En effet, soutient-il.

Dans le domaine de l’agriculture, des milliards ont été injectés par le régime de Macky Sall pour soutenir le secteur, avec l’octroi de 231 tracteurs, 225 aft, et 95 moissonneuse-batteuses.
Les jeunes et les femmes ont également bénéficiés des financements. En effet, ce sont 121969750 qui ont été injectés par le fongip pour 646 projets. La Der délégation générale à l’entreprenariat des jeunes et des femmes ce sont 476400 millions qui ont été mis à la disposition de 1218 jeunes et femmes du département, a fait savoir le MEER dirigé par Alassane Ba.
