Le journaliste Pape Alé Niang est reconnu coupable de diffamation et Mody Niang coupable de complicité. Ils sont condamnés à 3 mois de prison avec sursis, plus une amende de 200 000 Fcfa chacun. En revanche pour Nafi Ngom Keita, le tribunal s’est déclaré incompétent.

Le journaliste et son co-prévenu, qui a préfacé son ouvrage intitulé “Scandale au cœur de la République : le dossier du Coud” sont poursuivis pour diffamation par l’actuel ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur.

Pour rappel, l’actuel ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur, Cheikh Oumar Hann avait déposé deux citations directes contre l’ex-présidente de l’Ofnac (Office national de lutte contre la fraude et la corruption), Nafi Ngom Keïta et Pape Alé Niang. Ce dernier a sorti un livre intitulé « Scandale au cœur de la République, le dossier du Coud ».
