Idrissa Seck : Sur Sa Nomination À La Tête Du CESE

Lors de la publication du nouveau gouvernement, Idrissa Seck, considéré comme le leader de l’opposition, a été nommé président du Conseil économique, environnemental et social (CESE). Dans la foulée, il a tenu une conférence de presse pour expliquer pourquoi il a décidé de dire oui à Macky Sall.

« A cause du coronavirus, beaucoup de monde ont perdu leur emploi, partout, même aux Etats-Unis. Il y a une chute drastique des économies, ici et dans la diaspora. C’est dans un tel contexte, ou dans notre sous région, des conflits et des tensions extrêmement vives déchirent les classes politiques qu’il nous appartient de rendre grâce au Sénégal. Ainsi, au moyen d’une longue et sereine discussion, notre classe politique (APR et Rewmi), qui représente 85% de l’électorat, nous avons parvenu à s’entendre pour mieux prendre en charge les défis du pays. Il faut redresser notre économie, rééquilibre notre société, consolider la paix civile et la paix de notre pays, qui est l’un des rares ilots de stabilité dans la sous région.

Compte tenu de la situation internationale et nationale, il nous est apparu évident d’accepter la proposition de Macky Sall pour une union de l’ensemble des forces de la Nation », a déclaré Idrissa Seck face à la presse.
