La Douane a procédé, ce mercredi 09 décembre 2020, à l’incinération d’importantes quantités de drogues composées de vocaïne et de haschich saisies dans le cadre d’opérations menées par la Douane et par la Marine nationale en présence des représentants de toutes les Forces de Défense et de Sécurité.
Les quantités de drogues incinérées se présentent comme suit : 905 kg de cocaïne pour une contre valeur de 72 400 000 000 de francs CFA ; 5138,5 kg de haschich pour une contre valeur de 45 687 600 000 de francs CFA. Le Haschich a été saisi par la Marine nationale en avril 2020. S’agissant de la cocaïne, sur les 905 kg incinérés, les 164 kg ont été saisis par la Subdivision des Douanes de Dakar-Port dans 3 opérations différentes entre 2019 et 2020.
Les 741kg restants proviennent d’une saisie de la Marine nationale réalisée en novembre 2019. L’opération de destruction par four à haute température a eu lieu dans les installations de la Société des Ciments du Sahel.
