Depuis quelques jours, des affrontements entre des citoyens sénégalais et des forces de l’ordre sont notés sur l’ensemble du territoire national. Une situation qui a occasionné des décès, des blessés, des attaques contre des organes de presse et la coupure de signal d’organes de télévision SEN TV et Walf TV par le CNRA.
L’URAC condamne fermement les attaques de la RFM, du Soleil ainsi que la coupure de signal d’organes de télévision SEN TV et Walf TV par le CNRA. Nous marquons aussi notre solidarité à la RFM, au soleil, à la SEN TV et à Walf TV et à tout organe de presse impacté par ces affrontements.
Ainsi, nous demandons le retour de la paix partout au Sénégal, pays de la « téranga ».
Nous rappelons également aux administrateurs des radios communautaires qu’ils soient à équidistants comme ils l’ont toujours fait dans le traitement de l’information, conformément aux exigences de la réglementation en vigueur et des cahiers des charges applicables aux radios communautaires.
Quant au CNRA, nous leur manifestons notre désaccord pour les coupures de signal infligées à nos collègues de la SEN TV et de Walf TV et exigeons le rétablissement, sans délais, pour apaiser la situation de colère qui sévit dans le pays. Cette coupure des signaux de SEN TV et de Walf a provoqué un sentiment de frustration aux yeux de beaucoup de citoyens.
