Célèbre pour ses évasions multiples, Boy Djinné avait réussi une 12e évasion, en s’extirpant du quartier « haute sécurité » du Camp pénal de Liberté 6 où il était détenu. Au lendemain de son évasion, il accordait une interview à la télévision iTV du groupe Emedia, pour justifier son acte par une injustice qu’il dit subir à cause d’une longue détention injustifiée à ses yeux.
Baye Modou Fall assurait même qu’il ne comptait pas quitter le pays et était prêt à répondre à la justice dès que son dossier serait enrôlé par le juge. Il reste à voir s’il n’essayait pas de quitter le territoire national puisqu’il a été arrêté à Tambacounda, une région frontalière du Mali.
En effet, lors de sa dernière évasion, c’est à la frontière avec la Guinée qu’il avait été arrêté. Affaire à suivre
